Maxi-Cosi gets IsoFix

Dutch carseat and stroller company Maxi-Cosi now has the IsoFix system. Called LATCH in the good old USA, IsoFix allows a carseat to be installed using anchors that fit into holders made on the car (all new models have these). I know Maxi-cosi is much loved by American parents as well, however I am not sure if the anchors work with our LATCH sytem. I have heard that Maxi-Cosi does plan to eventually spread to American within a few years.

Sorry, even more Britney

I am very sorry for the number of Britney posts recently. However, she seems to be all over the news. German tv station RTL was given a photo tour of Britney's home shortly before the birth of her son Sean. The photos included Britney's room, Kevin's kids' playroom, and little Sean's nursery. And by the looks of it, I'm guessing that Britney really didn't know what she was having. What's up with the all the pink.

People Magazine has reported that Britney's new baby is named Sean Preston Federline and already he has recieved a lot of loot. Now I cannot be sure that Britney actually got this stuff, it's just what the magazine said. But here's what People reported on.

Babystyle Chair - A present from Britney's mom. She bought the kid-sized chair in leather for Sean at Babystyle of course!

Sophie the Giraffe

I was curious about Sophie the Giraffe. After seeing her picture on our site's ads for several weeks, I started to wonder who she was. So I checked it out and was quite amazed. Sophie started in France in 1961 as a toy designed to stimulate the senses and soothe the teething gums. She quickly became Europe's "must-have" baby item. To date, Sophie has sold over 10 million units in Europe alone. Impressive! I can't think of any other baby item that has done that. But there's more! Sophie is also made by hand of finest rubber and food quality paint. Nothing unsafe.

New For Mountain Buggy

New Zealand stroller maker Mountain Buggy now has clips for American made carseats. The new adaptors work for Peg Perego Primo Viaggios and Graco Snugrides, allowing the all-terrain buggies to become travel systems. They even sell a clip for double strollers too. I know a lot of Mountain Buggy owners who have talked about this, and I'm glad that Mountain Buggy has added this new feature.

Robeez are popular

I have been seeing this shoe everywhere lately. The pink cupcake bootie from Robeez Footwear has appeared on every celeb baby girl from Sam Sheen to Dayna Devon's baby's closet! I really like Robeez shoes and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a baby shoe that will stay on. They come in a million different styles and they even make boots now for babies!

Ben and Christine like Posh Tots

Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor recently called upon hip internet store PoshTots to create a special environment for their new arrival. When Quinlin Dempsey Stiller was born in July, the couple had a nursery designed for him by the artists and decorators at Posh Tots, whose client list also includes Dylan and Shiva Rose McDermott and Benjamin Bratt and wife Talisa Soto. You may recall the last time around, Ben and Christine had their daughter Ella's nursery designed by Auntie Barbara's Antiques.

Britney has a boy

Britney Spears reportedly gave birth to a baby boy Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles. There has been no offical confirmation, but most every news source is reporting it now so I thought I would to. Several rumors have surrounded the birth from tabloids, but so far everything seems to be ok with Baby Spears-Federline.

Britney's stylish little one will have a lot of chic gifts to go home to, including a $1,000 Iron Cradle and a Versace wardrobe.

Dayna Devon's Nursery

InTouch Magazine recently featured the nursery of Extra host Dayna Devon. Dayna's daughter Emmi Reese was born on Sept. 2 and Dayna showed off her little girl's room right before the birth. While sadly I don't have scans of my own, CBB does. I can however tell you what she's got in the pictures.

Picture One: The crib is a Corsican Crib with custom lines by Bella Notte. The cream colored blanket is Fattamano. The stuffed animals are by Kaloo and North American Bear Company.

Picture Two: Sweet Dreams sign is available at Posh Tots. The blanket on the left is Petunia Picklebottom. Not sure who made the rain boots, but you can buy them at Baby Heirlooms. All of the shoes on shelf two are Nowa Li. The pink and brown shoes are from Janie and Jack and the Cupcake Booties are Robeez. I am not sure about the other two pink shoes, but they look like Pom D'Api.

Newest addition to the Stroller/Bike market

Yes we've all those baby bikes/strollers. There are quite a number of them now, and here is the latest one. This tricycle comes from Europe and of course can be either peddled by the tot or pushed by the parents. It also has a basket and backpack built into the removable canopy, similar to a stroller. The stroller part is removeable when the child becomes older too. I think of all the strikes (that's what I call them) that I have seen, this one is the best looking. Available at FAO Schwarz.

Heidi's baby is on the way

Even though I'm not a big fan of Heidi Klum, it's a slow news week. German tv station rtl is reporting that Heidi has checked into a Los Angeles Hospital (probably Cedars) and thet her baby will be born any hour now. Heidi, who has a daughter Leni, 1, with Italian Formula One racing mogul Flavio Briatore, is expecting her second child. This time the father is singer Seal.

Versace to dress Britney's new baby

Donatella Versace recently told Ananova.com that she plans to make a special baby collection for Britney Spears's new baby. Versace has been making older children's clothing for some time now, but not anything for a baby. Donatella phoned Britney a while back and offered to create the baby a complete wardrobe, which Britney was said to be very happy about.

Donatella and Britney both a have a common friend, Madonna, and Britney was always impressed with how Madonna dressed her daughter Lourdes. Lourdes got exclusivly made baby clothing from Versace as well when she was born and was one of the reason they began their kid's line.

Tip top online store Posh Tots now has a gift registry. They've spent months making it and it looks really nice. I know of a lot of people having been asking them to make one and even I have emailed them in the past about it. Gift registries just make life so much easier. Also check out some of their new items and their new grown-up store, Posh Living.

A Neat Seat

I found this on Modern Seed, in the baby gift section. The Trioli 3-in-One is a modern seat for little ones, also acting as a rocker. The chair part has three different seat heights so the kid can sit high or low, depending on the table. The toy rocker part of it looks interesting. I'd like to see one of these in action.

What Britney DIDN'T get

Poor little baby of Britney.

The kid hasn't even been born yet and already it's gettings its fair share of tabloid fodder. Lets go through the trash news steps of celebrity family making together shall we?

- Famous man and woman meet, Magazine says they are a couple
- When they do finally become a couple, Magazine says they are getting married
- If and when they do, Magazine says they want a family now
- Woman gains tiny amount of weight, Magazine says she's pregnant
- If she is pregnant and then confirms it, Magazine starts speculating on the sex of the baby and what gifts have been bought
- Baby is born, Magazine sells an arm and an leg to get a picture

Britney's kid is at number 5 right now and the rumors of the baby's sex and what it owns are running a muck. It seems like "Britney bought this for her baby" is turning up everywhere. Sadly, it's usually not the case. If you read enough magazines, Courtney Cox owns EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF BABY GEAR EVER MADE. Anyhow, to the point. I have recieved several emails about Britney Spears lately and here is what I know she has, that is confirmed through pictures and her offical reps.

Britney owns a Corsican Cradle, Bonpoint stacking baskets, a Baby Gap yellow ensemble, a Babystyle robe and booties set, and possibly some clothing from Kitson. Also talk show host Ellen gave her a Silver Cross Pram and some gag gifts. Nothing else has been confirmed as far as I know. That is all that has been made public.

I know there are people out there that want to buy products that Britney and other star moms have. Just wanted to clear that up.
