Introducing the Diaper Diva, made by those Diaper Dude people. As you may recall, the Diaper Dude is a baby bag made for men that they won't be too embarassed to carry. Well now they have one for us ladies in girly colors. The Diaper Diva, new for 2005, comes in Pink Camouflage, Orange Lava Bag, Pistachio Rubberband, and Stripes. It's suppose to be for women OR men to carry, but I can't imagine a guy carrying one of these.

If you're buying a Nest chair....
Get one from Sparkability. These are the nicest, sweetest people in the world and their store carries so many modern baby things. The other modern baby stores only carry some of what I like, which is good, but this has it all plus good customer service. And they are one of only a few stores in the USA that carry The Nest, a modern Euro highchair made for children from 6 months to 6 years. The Nest made a big impact overseas, selling in stores like Selfridges, Baby Concierge, and Le Bon Mache.
The price is around what a Bugaboo costs, but just like a Bugaboo, you get what you pay for.

The Beckhams' Pram
That's David Beckham pushing three-month-old son Cruz in Spain recently. The picture appeared in People Magazine and even though it took me a while to figure out the pram name and make, I have not been defeated. It's a Babystyle Arrue Elegante 3 in 1 pram, sold in Europe. Babystyle is a stroller company over on that side of the pond. But some European sites will ship them if you MUST have the Beckham pram.
*Site Update* Finally! Our awards are up, for those of you who were waiting. As well as some new ground rules for product submissions for posts.

The Peanut Shell
Check out this really cool carrier! Invented by mom Alicia Shaffer after purchasing and not liking every single sling and baby carrier available (Yikes! That's quite a few), the Peanut Shell from Alicia's Goo-Ga company is everything a sling should be and more! It's fashionable, it's functional, and babies love it according to tester Campbell Shaffer.
The Peanut Shell takes the best of every carrier and sling out there and puts it together in one piece. It's easy to use, it holds the baby close, and can be used as the child grows. Goo-Ga is also offering all of our readers a 10% discount right now. How very nice of them!

Britney get baby gifts
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have already started recieving things for their baby. Recently the two appeared on the Ellen Show, where Ellen gave them the only gift she knows how to give to star moms. A Silver Cross Pram. I guess she has some kind of advertising deal with the company. However, this one was a bit different, as it had spinner wheels. Ellen also gave them some gag gifts, but the pram was the coolest thing.
Meanwhile, Thumbelina Baby is customizing two Snuggle Sacks for Britney and Kevin. Britney's first dress-up sack will be done in a beautiful baby pink, deep fuschia and black cherry blossoms motif in silk brocade; and her fun casual sack will be done in a vibrant hot pink Pucci-esque print in a lightweight cotton.

Ultra Hip Clothing Makes Its Way To Louisville
I did a double take in the mall when I passed a boy wearing the above t-shirt. No Sugar Added, a London company, is only sold in NYC and LA on this side of the pond. And Louisville usually doesn't get their fashionista transplants. But none the less, I was glad to see a person who shared my love of unique children's clothing and complimented them on it.
Turns out you can order No Sugar Added online and have it shipped to you. For a fee of course, and shipping from London isn't cheap.

Mystery Bag Revealed!
We have, thanks to our readers, discovered the true identity of Coco's diaper bag. After a long journey, countless emails, and eventually success, we have discovered that the diaper bag is an Oilily bambi bag from last year. The current pattern is no longer sold, however Oilily still sells a lot of similar diaper bags on their website and in their stores.

One Unique Baby Book!
Finding a baby record book is not an easy task. This is one item that doesn't always equal posh. Usually record books for babies are sold at card stores and really, well, stink. But not Mother Stork’s Baby Book. Originally published in 1904, this baby book was reproduced by Kistner Supply Publishing Company last year because founder Elizabeth Melsheimer also had a hard time finding a decent record book for her baby.
The book is made with archival-quality materials, printed on custom-made, 100-pound, acid-free text stock, and bound in the oldest and most durable technique available today. The cover photo is the original 1904 one, and the inside pages are beautiful and very vintage looking. Not your average frilly baby book.
You can get one online at Kistner Supply Publishing Company's website. Definitly have a look at their sample pages online.

Great Store!
I don't have a lot of time tonight, but I wanted to point out this really cool store called Infant Interiors. It's in Newport, RI and it sells all kinds of posh baby stuff and designs nurseries. They don't sell online yet, but the site gives you a good idea of what they've got. Check it out if you get some time.

Coco's diaper bag mystery
Usually I am very good at figuring out the name and brand of a baby product just by looking at it. Stars will be pictured with something, like a stroller or an outfit, and I can say "that's a Silver Cross Micro" or "that's from Baby Dior, spring 2005 line". However, I was recently given a task that seems nearly impossible and has challenged by baby expert skills to their limits.
Figuring out where Courtney Cox-Arquette got her diaper bag.
Above is the close-up, blown up picture of the mystery bag. I have been working on this now for months, after a reader sent it in and asked where they could get one. So far I have ruled out the following brands: SkipHop, Petunia Picklebottom, BabyStyle, Sweet Tulip, Pottery Barn Kids, and Kate Spade. While the bag does resemble a Fleurville, I cannot find a match for the print anywhere. Same with OiOi.
If anyone out there can identifiy this bag, let me know ASAP!

Celebrity Arrivals
So how does Hollywood announce a new baby? Well, besides the blurb on ET and an entire front cover of PEOPLE. Simply Put by Ashley Woodman are birth announcements that make a statement with simple, yet unique designs. Printed on only the most premium paper, Simply Put designs cards that you will not only love, but will stick around long enough so that the baby can see that you went all out with they are older.
Debra Messing's baby shower invitations were designed by Woodman, and you can design your own too! Choose from a variety of pre-existing motifs and color schemes, or customize your own on Tiny Prints.

New SkipHops!
Diaper bag company SkipHop welcomes two new additions this spring. The Dash and the Expo diaper bags now join SkipHop's infamous Duo bag, sharing the same trademarked strapping system but with some new features. The Dash is a messanger type bag, made with more storage but still compact. It comes in nine different colors, all sleak and modern.
The Expo also has a lot of storage space, unzipping from side to side and from the bottom. It is similar in size to the Duo, but with more pockets and space and of course, more new colors! Look for both new bags this spring!

Splendid Clothing
The favorite clothing of celebs has been shrunk. Splendid, the lovely women's designer clothing label, now makes baby clothes. Sold at stores like Intuition, Splendid's baby line consists of shirts, pants, one pieces, hats, and blankets so far. Lots of pretty colors like the women's line. Kate Hudson has some of these clothes for little Ryder.
