New Changing Pad

Tired of changing your changing pads? Well thanks to the Lil' Wizard Deluxe Changing Pad, those days are over! I first saw this product in Pregnancy Magazine and now they are selling it on One Step Ahead. It's a regular shaped changing pad like you'd find at any baby store that dispenses a soft, fresh paper sheet every time. You have to buy the refils (like a diaper genie) but one roll lasts 120 changings so its not that bad. It doesn't say rather or not it takes regular paper towels, but that should be a goal.

Baby Chic 101 Awards/Contest

Our "readers pick" portion of the Baby Chic 101 Awards will begin with voting starting Feb. 1st and ending Feb. 28th. I moved the dates up a bit since we have all the nominations we need. This is how it will go down. Anyone who reads this site that lives within the USA (since I can't ship out of the country) is welcome to vote in the awards and by doing so, enter into our contest. You may only vote once and you must read the offical rules before voting. If you do not live in the USA, you are still welcome to vote but since shipping costs a fortune, you cannot enter our contest unless you can provide shipping for us.

There are three prize packages:

1) An Amy Coe Moses Basket filled with a Flutterby Blanket, a Tea Outfit, a Little Giraffe Blanket and Pillow, and Oeuf Shoes

2) A Skip Hop Denim Diaper Bag filled with a Flutterby bib and burp set, Little Twig Baby Wash and Lotion, Two Babystyle kimonos and hats, and a Little Giraffe Burpie

3) A Tee-Pee from Pink Taffy Designs filled with a Goodfather CD, a Babystyle Giant Ball and Block, a Babystyle Stacker, and a Pottery Barn Kids thumbie

I would live to say thanks to and give a shout out to our sponsors for the contest:

Get Julia's Goods

Julia Robert's babies made a rare apperance recently, showing off their chic stuff. Three different attendants carried out the twins and their loot, which included a blue Little Giraffe Blanket, a Graco Snugride, a Medela Pump In Style, and a Papasan. They also had some weird diaper bag that I have never seen before and found rather unstylish. Julia herself was pictured in two of the photos, walking behind the babies and sitting with them in the car.

You may recognize one of the nannies in the picture. Its the same one who worked for the Arquettes and the Reese Witherspoon.

Lulah gets ready for the spring

Lulah Cashmere obviously can't do sweaters in the spring and summer. So they have decided to expand on their line by creating shirts and pants sets in their most loved designs. The above are based on the cashmere "I love Mommy/Daddy" hoodies that Julia Roberts bought for her twins.

The sets are known as Amber Hagen Glitterati (instead of Lulah, Amber is the creator of both). Right now the only place I have seen them is online at Tutti Bella, but I'm sure they will be sold in the same places the popaulr Lulah.

New Bugaboos offically go on sale

Today is the day. The first day of the last week of January. And while that may mean nothing to us American folk, in the Netherlands it's a whole new world. For today is the day when the two new Bugaboos go on sale. Yes, after several months of waiting, the Bugaboo Gecko and the Bugaboo Cameleon will hit the stores in their motherland. As you may recall I posted several months back about these two new models. The Gecko is the new lightweight model Bugaboo, while the Cameleon is the one where you get to play around with the cool colors.

Other than that, there's not a whole lot of differences between them and the Frog. Sadly though, the rest of the world outside of the Netherlands won't see it until this summer.

Wearing a statement

Does it not seem like there is a onesie now for every possible sick statement a baby could make? Everything from "I See Poo In My Future" to "Boob Man" and even grosser things than that! And if its not sick, its something stupid like "Please Vote" (on a baby?) or "Feed Me"?

Thankfully, The Land Of Nod has come to the rescue. They have created onesies that actually say something cute. The "Terms Of Endearment" Onesies feature sayings that people actually call their sweet little bundles, like Sweet Pea, Pumpkin, and Cupcake. Not to mention the designs are the cutest things! It comes in two sizes and goes for $19 a piece.
